“In festo transfigurationis”, "On the Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord Jesus Christ," is a short yet profound spiritual ascent—a piece where Liszt distills deeply religious sentiment into minimal musical means. He composed it on the sacred feast, 1880 Aug 6, and was published only posthumously, in 1927. It stands as a luminous testament to the composer’s final decade of reflective and spiritual meditations.

The piano is a straight stringed Bösendorfer with a production number of 4019 at four locations, but I find unlikely that it were produced around 1855. Still trying to figure out the year of production, which should be around 1880ish.

Some basic settlements have been performed on the piano, but most of the work remains before it can shine in its full splendor.
