The golden voice of the Four Seasons, Frankie Valli had chart success as a soloist with Top Ten hits "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" (1966 - #2), "My Eyes Adored You" (1974 - #1), "Swearin' To God" (1975 - #6), and "Grease" (1978 - #1), in addition to Top 40 hits "Our Day Will Come" (1975 - #11) and "Fallen Angel" (his next to last Top 40 entry, 1976 - #36).
"Where Did We Go Wrong", released in 1980, was Valli's final single to make the Billboard Hot 100. Written and produced by fellow Four Season Bob Gaudio, the song stalled at #90 on the Billboard Hot 100 and did make the Top Five on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart, where it reached #4.
